Summary

The Admin/Logistics Officer will be responsible for coordinating all logistic activities, while providing general administrative support. This role requires strong logistical planning skills, the ability to multitask, and a focus on efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  1. Provide support for travel logistics, including accommodation, transportation, and itinerary planning.
  2. Company fleet management and administration.
  3. Ensure all vehicles are properly maintained, schedule regular maintenance appointments, and coordinate repairs.
  4. Develop new processes or procedures to streamline the delivery process and coordination of all drivers.
  5. Maintaining a fleet inventory of all vehicles owned by the company, including their make and model, purchase date, current mileage, insurance, registration papers and all government required working documents.
  6. Maintaining records of fuel usage, mileage, and maintenance history for each vehicle and to reconcile invoices for payment purposes.
  7. Coordinating with third-party for hiring of vehicles such as Flat beds, Self-loader, Crane, etc. and containers during loadouts.
  8. Ensure all containers and reefers are cleaned, fumigated, certified and has the right color codes.
  9. Working with the HR department to schedule employee training on company vehicles or equipment handling.
  10. Planning and coordinating the movement of materials and products within the organization.
  11. Conduct routine checks on all vehicles to ensure their functionality.
  12. To provide assistance on office moves, reallocations and general distribution of logistics general supplies.
  13. Develop and implementing effective tracking systems to monitor vehicle movement.
  14. Collaborate with team members on special projects as assigned.
  15. Handle general administrative tasks as needed.
  16. Coordinate the purchase and distribution of fuel/diesel products for all vehicle and production and power generating machines.

Requirements

  1. B.Sc. / HND in related field.


  1. ​Minimum 3 years’ experience in a large-scale logistics operation as a logistics officer, supervisor, coordinator or team lead.​​


  1. Must have a valid driver’s license.
  2. Good problem solving and analytical skills.
  3. Good negotiation, leadership and time management skills.
  4. Oral and written communication skills.
  5. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  6. Cost optimization and financial management.
  7. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  9. A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
